The first montage I made was of dice.^(additional) I liked the idea that the spots on the dice could be used to create an image.

There are several sites out on the internet that help you convert an image into a dice montage. I found the problem with this method of dice art is that it requires a phenomenal number of dice which are a relatively expensive medium to work in.

I created Dice Drawing as a dice art alternative to what I was finding. It is a simple paint program but instead of painting colors, you’re painting with dice faces. It allows for small montages.

I needed undo and redo functionality, they are my favorite “go to” change state buttons. I wanted a way to share what you have created, so I added a gallery. And finally, I needed a way to generate a jpeg image from your dice layout. Note: I used this when creating the fireworks proof of concept.^(additional)
