Trestris is a tile-matching video game in which players rotate and move falling blocks to complete horizontal lines without gaps. The rules of Trestris are simple:
Pieces: Different shaped blocks (known as “trominos”) fall from the top of the playing field. Trominos are made up of three solid or transparent squares.
Movement: Players can rotate the trominos and move them horizontally to fit into the playing field.
Squares: Transparent squares will pass through other transparent squares but will not pass through solid ones. When two transparent squares settle on same spot they create a solid square.
Completing lines: When a horizontal line is filled with blocks without gaps or transparent squares, it disappears.
Game over: If a tromino reaches the top of the playing field and there is no space for it to fit, the game ends.
Levels: Every five solid lines achieved will advance a level which gives the player a new blank screen and the game speed increases.
Objective: The objective of Trestris is to level up and prolong the game for as long as possible.
