Unclear history except that in 1952 or 1953 when I was collecting Malan treasures from the \u201cyard\u201d\u2014the place I at least two warehouses and multiple old caterpillar tractors and big shovel construction equipment, I found this in Lettie Malan\u2019s basement in a closet and wanted it so. My mother said I must ask uncle Ken if he would let me have it if I promised to take care of it. This was very frightening to me at the age of 10 or 11 since he was a distant old attorney who was well-dressed and handsome with grey wavy hair\u2026 but I dared to do it and ask.
