Brass rubbing of a tonsured, praying priest 3’ 6” x 11 ½”. Made for me by my friend Susan Futterman who bicycled to the church (somewhere near oxford) made the rubbing, rolled it up and bicycled back. ~1967. She was the consort of my best friend at UCLA, Robert Bland, brilliant, bipolar, bisexual who died of AIDS about 1982.
