Swiss music box 4 1/8” x 5 7/8” x 2 1/8” high with red and white inlaid roses on top. 1956. I gave my friend John McNaughton $15 to buy a music box in Switzerland while he was visiting Europe with his father who was a professor at UCLA. It was a year’s sabbatical, actually. I had decided it was for the girl I would someday be engaged to- and who would be just right for it… and so she was. Gift to Pam Steed at wedding, 1969.
